Comment on Nikhil Rathi's 'Resilient futures' speech

A CII Group spokesperson, has issued the below statement regarding Nikhil Rathi’s speech on Resilient futures.

“We welcome Nikhil Rathi’s comments about the need to deepen financial literacy, starting in schools. Members of the CII and PFS already undertake hundreds of volunteering sessions across the UK each year, building the financial understanding of thousands of young people. We would be excited to explore how we can support the Government, MaPS and other organisations to leverage this existing activity to reach further, giving more people the life skills they need to navigate their finances with confidence and benefit from the important protection insurance can offer.”
