HunterMoss, the experiential luxury travel company known for small-group, hosted driving journeys across Europe and North America, has just unveiled its 2027 calendar – with a headline addition: a brand-new route through the Basque Country and Bordeaux.

After the luxury cruise and railway boom, are driving journeys luxury travel's next evolution? As travellers seek greater immersion and flexibility, curated driving experiences offer a deeper connection to a destination than viewing it from a carriage window or ship deck?

HunterMoss has launched its 2027 calendar, bringing together the company's signature driving journeys across Europe and North America, alongside a pioneering new route: the Basque to Bordeaux Supercar Tour. Running from 26thApril to 2nd May 2027, the seven-day journey traces from Bilbao through San Sebastián and Biarritz to the vineyards of Saint-Émilion, joining the dots between two of the most celebrated culinary and cultural regions in Europe.
The new tour is built around contrast and gastronomy. Guests move from the rugged Atlantic shoreline of the Basque Country, with its pintxos bars and three-Michelin-starred kitchens, to the grand châteaux and legendary roads of Bordeaux wine country, with five-star stays overlooking the Cantabrian Sea and landmark accommodation in Biarritz along the way. As with every HunterMoss journey, the supercars are the thread that connects the experience rather than the point of it; the days are shaped by gastronomy, scenery, private access and the company of a small group travelling together.

The next great European road trip? HunterMoss unveils its first Basque to Bordeaux itinerary, linking two of the world's most influential food and wine regions through a lesser explored corner of Europe

"What makes a journey stay with you is rarely the thing you expected. It is the conversation over dinner, the road that opens onto a view you did not see coming, the sense of being somewhere you could never have reached on your own. We chose Basque to Bordeaux because few regions tell a richer story through food, landscape and culture, and because it lets our guests experience that story at the right pace. Every detail is designed so that people can simply be present, together, and take home something far more lasting than a holiday,"
said Julie Hunter, COO and Co-Founder of HunterMoss.
The full 2027 Tour Collection across Europe and North America is open for enquiries. Every journey begins with a conversation with the HunterMoss Travel Concierge team, who shape each itinerary around the guest.
