Logistics UK - 25 Year History
Over 2,000 delegates have already attended or booked to attend Logistics UK's Transport Manager 2025 conference series, a record number in the event's 25-year history. With only two in-person and one virtual event to go for 2025, anyone wishing to book is advised to do so as soon as possible to avoid being disappointed.
Extra places have been added to the events on Thursday 27 November in Cardiff and Tuesday 2 December in Birmingham to accommodate this year's unparalleled demand, and a virtual event will take place on Friday 21 November, ideal for those unable to travel to one of the venues.
The one-day conferences give attendees the chance to hear direct from expert speakers including senior industry figures and policy makers - such as the local Traffic Commissioner - on wide-ranging topics affecting the role of the transport manager in 2025 and beyond.
Other sessions include a legislative round-up and compliance update; a session "One incident, three regulators: compliance on trial" with transport lawyers Weightmans; a session on best practice in preventative maintenance from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Logistics UK Vehicle Inspection Service team; updates from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA); an interactive session on the future of road regulation; "Shifting gears to improve driver health and road safety: The SHIFT programme" with representatives from Loughborough University and the Leicester Diabetes Centre; and a presentation from the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) on crime and theft in commercial transport.
