Europa Worldwide Group has moved decisively to counter recent misleading industry communications that threaten to undermine UK exporters' confidence in European trade. Asserting its customs authority to confirm the continued availability of its market-leading Europa Flow service.

The intervention follows incorrect claims by a number of operators suggesting that UK exporters using DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) will lose access to Customs Procedure 42 ("Regime 42") from January 2026. The implication being that UK companies will no longer have the ability to utilise this crucial customs term.

While legislative changes are coming, Europa has confirmed that its Europa Flow service will remain fully operational and unaffected by upcoming changes.

Andrew Baxter CEO of Europa Worldwide Group, says, “Messages being circulated by some within the industry are factually incorrect and add confusion to an already challenging regulatory landscape that exporters must navigate.”

As a pioneer in DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) solutions and long-standing user of Regime 42 through its Europa Flow service, Europa has closely monitored the proposed legislative changes since it was first announced. Europa has closely monitored the proposed legislative changes since it first went live in late 2024.

Andrew Baxter, CEO of Europa Worldwide Group, expressed the importance of accurate industry communications: "Our commitment to customers has always been built on providing accurate, thoroughly researched information that helps them make informed decisions about their supply chains.

“Customs procedures are already confusing enough for UK businesses, and it's crucial that the industry provides clear, verified guidance rather than adding to existing uncertainties. Getting the facts right is fundamental to maintaining the trust that businesses place in us during these complex regulatory times."

Europa's commitment to regulatory compliance has been fundamental to the success of Europa Flow since its inception in 2021. The service transformed European road freight by applying DDP terms to road transport for the first time, removing customs complexities for SME customers while enabling a return to pre-Brexit transit times. The service now accounts for 50 per cent of all groupage transport leaving the UK.

The company's expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments has been critical to building customer confidence in post-Brexit trade. Europa Flow operations have since expanded across Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands, creating a comprehensive European network that supports growing demand from UK businesses.

"We monitor all European and national legislation changes continuously," Andrew continues. "Should any future changes genuinely impact our services, we will inform customers immediately with clear, factual updates and alternative solutions. This is the standard of diligence that responsible logistics providers should maintain."

For customers seeking detailed information about the legislative changes Europa Flow's continued availability, Europa's account management team is offering direct consultation with its expert central compliance specialists, who have guided the business through regulatory changes since Europa Flow's inception.

"Our customer supply chain remains our top priority,” Andrew emphasises. "UK exporters retain full access to Regime 42 through Europa Flow's DDP customs clearance solution, and this continuity has been verified by the regulatory experts who have supported us from day one."

As the logistics industry continues to navigate the evolving post-Brexit landscape, Europa's approach demonstrates the importance of thorough analysis and expert consultation to ensure service continuity, protecting both customer operations and market confidence.
