The new three-night, four-day Kraków experience combines personalised wellness, independent travel and cultural discovery, offering women the freedom to reset on their own terms

Kraków, Poland – September 9, 2026: As more women choose to travel alone, Stradom House Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection by Marriott, is launching Her Solo Reset, a new three-night, four-day experience designed to empower women to embrace solo travel while reconnecting with themselves.

Combining personalised wellness, cultural discovery and the freedom to travel entirely at one's own pace, Her Solo Reset takes the restorative elements of a retreat and removes the rules: no fixed departure dates, group itineraries or prescribed schedules.

Available for stays from 1 October to 30 November 2026, the experience responds to a broader shift in the way women are approaching both travel and wellbeing. Rather than travelling to escape or committing to a traditional retreat, women are increasingly seeking experiences that allow them to reset, regulate and reconnect while retaining the freedom to decide exactly how they spend their time.

The numbers point to a significant change in who is travelling and how. Adventure travel company Intrepid reported that its Women's Expeditions grew by 32% in 2025, with 77% of guests joining solo, as women-only and solo travel increasingly move from niche categories into the mainstream.

Set within a meticulously restored 14th-century monastery and church, between Wawel Castle and the historic Kazimierz district, Stradom House provides a natural base for this new style of city break. Wawel Castle is within easy walking distance, allowing guests to move effortlessly between restorative time at the hotel and independent exploration of Kraków.

The 125-room hotel brings together heritage architecture and contemporary design with an extensive wellness offering, alongside restaurants, bars and cultural spaces, allowing guests to experience much of Kraków's food, wellness and social scene without ever having to leave the hotel.

At its heart is the award-winning SÓL Spa, inspired by Poland's centuries-old salt-mining traditions and developed in partnership with renowned London-based holistic facialist Alexandra Soveral. In 2026, SÓL won the 'Hotel Wellness Zone' category at Poland's prestigious Spa & Wellness Awards, while also being named a finalist for spa design, hotel spa and hotel fitness area. The spa has further received international recognition with a nomination for Poland's Best Hotel Spa 2026 at the World Spa Awards. Its extensive wellness offering combines natural, plant-based treatments with a 20-metre indoor pool, steam room, bio sauna, infrared salt sauna, relaxation areas and state-of-the-art fitness facilities, creating a restorative urban retreat in the heart of Kraków.

The hotel also holds the internationally recognised Green Key certification for its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable hospitality, with initiatives spanning the elimination of single-use plastics and EV charging to local sourcing, waste reduction and the use of natural Alexandra Soveral cosmetics throughout the hotel and SÓL Spa.

With Her Solo Reset, the hotel has developed an experience designed to take the friction out of travelling alone without taking away its independence. Across three nights and four days, guests enjoy three breakfasts, three lunches and three dinners, alongside a curated programme of three SÓL wellness treatments, yoga, cold-water therapy and time to explore Kraków independently. Private return airport transfers, unlimited access to the spa, a ticket to Wawel Castle and late check-out on departure day are also included.

FROM THE GROUP RETREAT TO THE SOLO RESET

At the heart of Her Solo Reset is a three-night stay bringing together treatments, movement, hot-and-cold therapies and sensory wellness, while deliberately leaving space for guests to decide what they need – whether that is exploring Kraków alone, lingering over lunch or simply doing very little at all.

On arrival, guests check into one of the dedicated SÓL Rooms, conveniently positioned close to the spa so they can move between their room and treatments in a robe and slippers without having to cross the hotel lobby. Lavender pillow oil adds another restorative touch, encouraging guests to switch off from the moment they arrive.

The wellness journey begins on Day One with a SÓL Ceremony body scrub and yoga session. Day Two moves into recovery and regeneration with a cold plunge and two-hour Deep SÓL wellness experience, while Day Three slows the pace with a Sound Room experience and signature SÓL treatment. Day Four is reserved for an unhurried departure, with breakfast and lunch followed by late check-out until 2pm.

Guests also have unlimited access throughout their stay to SÓL's wider wellness circuit, including a 20-metre indoor swimming pool, steam room, hydromassage showers, bio sauna, infrared salt sauna and fully equipped fitness studio.

Food forms another part of the reset. The package includes a total of three breakfasts, three lunches and three dinners, with balanced wellness menus centred around seasonal ingredients, quality protein and fibre. Beyond the programme, Stradom House is also home to Michelin Guide-recognised Stradomska 12 featuring the very best Polish cuisine, alongside SÓL Bar and Bakehouse 14, giving solo guests a choice of relaxed spaces to eat, drink and spend time throughout their stay.

A ticket to Wawel Castle, just a short walk from Stradom House, encourages guests to step outside and discover Kraków independently, while unscheduled time leaves room for spontaneous exploration of the city or simply time alone.

Private return airport transfers remove another piece of travel admin, while late check-out until 2pm on Day Four allows for an unhurried final day.

WELLNESS, WITH KRAKÓW ON THE DOORSTEP

The city setting is deliberately part of the proposition. Rather than removing guests from everyday life to an isolated retreat, Her Solo Reset places wellness within a city break, giving women the confidence and freedom to experience solo travel while combining restorative time with food, culture, architecture and independent exploration.

Launching this October, Her Solo Reset responds to the growing mainstream appeal of solo female travel and a wider shift towards more personalised approaches to wellbeing. Designed for women who want the restorative benefits of a retreat without surrendering their independence, the three-night, four-day experience combines treatments, mindful movement and nourishing food with the freedom to discover Kraków entirely on their own terms.

'Her Solo Reset' is available for stays between 1 October and 30 November 2026, subject to availability. Pricing varies depending on occupancy and demand in Kraków at the time of booking. Guests can check live rates and availability via the Stradom House Hotel & Spa booking website.
