Minnis Bay - North Kent Coast
Evening Shadows

The nights are drawing in again and the North Kent coast will change quickly from sand castles, day trippers and weekend breaks to standing proud into the sea.
If you want to see the contrast as the shadows pull in, Minnis Bay between Herne Bay and the ever-popular Margate is worth a visit.
The bay is in Birchington, and the area is very well served with places to eat and drink. There are well stocked shops, amenities and a sense of community.
However, if you simply want a late summer evenings walk, then Minnis Bay could be just for you.
Parking is ample and free, the area is considered a low crime zone and people are genuinely friendly. Dog walkers are welcomed on the cliff tops, and the sun sets are stunning. An hour or two at Minnis Bay before you go home could be just the space you need, watch the shadows, feel the breeze, take a breath and think.
